Here Are Some Passages That We Find Motivating and Inspirational

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in

the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In

him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness

has not overcome it. John 1:1-5

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am

with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19,20

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in

Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to

prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All

the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to

anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread

in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the

people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace

was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. Acts 4:33,34

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task

the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be

shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. Acts 20:28
